Environmentally friendly inks and specialty coatings are our specialty. At Premier Press we continually seek out technologies that provide the highest quality product while minimizing our environmental footprint.
Premier Press is excited to announce e2 eco friendly printing inks for traditional offset printing. e2 inks print like conventional inks but with a much lower VOC content—5% or less compared to 18% approximate VOC range of soy based ink. It reduces ink, paper and other pressroom consumables as it is faster-to-color, quick-setting, and quick-drying as well as offering enhanced dot sharpness.
Our UV ink technology totally eliminates VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). UV inks have phenomenal ink hold out for bright, beautiful color as inks dry trap as well as sharper image clarity and intensity. UV inks output zero VOC’s. Environmentally sensitive inks coupled with special blanket wash technology decrease wash-up VOC’s by another 95%.

Diamondkote UV or aqueous based coating is used for high contrast gloss and dull affects. Highlight photos, a pattern or a logo for a dramatic effect.
Soft Touch coating gives a durable velour finish which can be used with or without a spot gloss varnish. Soft Touch is more durable than velour or dull coated papers as it is bruise and scratch resistant.

Texturekote adds texture and can be used with a spot gloss affect. It is an amazing effect to emphasize texture in a design or pattern or for certain photographic effects.
Iriodin adds sparkle, flash color that changes as you move the piece in light. Hints of metallic or hints of color in an iridescent coating grab attention.

Liquid gold or silver coatings give a denser more metallic finish than gold and silver inks creating a special effect that gets noticed.
HD VividColour is a new ink and screening techology that maximizes color. It prints uncoated paper with the vibrancy of coated papers. Premier Press is the first on the West Coast to offer this new technology. Read more on our HD VividColour page.
