A’ja Wilson x Nike – Premium Custom Packaging
Designing a Signature Experience
When Nike and A’ja Wilson set out to introduce her signature line, the goal wasn’t simply to create custom packaging—it was to design an experience that reflected her presence, discipline, and impact. Our team partnered closely with Nike and A’ja to translate her vision into a physical form, crafting a multi-tiered kit system that balanced sculptural design, storytelling, and purpose across audiences.

Tier One: Sculptural by Design
The Tier One kit was conceived as a collector’s object—luxury distilled to its purest form. Built entirely around A’ja Wilson’s Nike logo, the structure itself became the statement.
A layered, high-density foam construction was precision-shaped, hand-sanded, and finished in white pearlescent automotive paint, delivering a refined sheen and lasting durability. The logo opens through a drawer-style reveal, unveiling A’ja’s signature shoes, hoodie, and a custom insert card—each element intentionally framed by the form.
Produced in an extremely limited run of just 15 kits, this tier was defined by craftsmanship and intention.
One Concept. Thoughtfully Adapted.
To extend the story beyond the collector tier, we developed a second kit that preserved the same exterior silhouette while allowing the interior experience and messaging to shift by audience. The result: one cohesive design system, executed with nuance.
Each box features a clamshell-style opening that reveals a custom interior layout, produced on our wide-format equipment using Infinity Board, holographic materials, and pearlescent inks. These material choices delivered depth, movement, and a premium feel—while maintaining flexibility for content.
The adult version, created for influencers and media, included A’ja’s signature shoes, hoodie, and book, paired with interior copy written specifically for this audience. A total of 50 kits were produced.

Designed to Inspire the Next Generation
For the youth audience, the kit retained its elevated structure and materials but was re-engineered to support both function and inspiration. The interior tray was redesigned to hold A’ja’s signature shoes and hoodie, alongside added elements like shoe charms and a basketball featuring her Nike logo.
Messaging inside the lid was customized to speak directly to young athletes—reinforcing confidence, ambition, and possibility. 25 kits were produced and distributed to youth sports fans, demonstrating how thoughtful design can scale across audiences without losing its intent.
From sculptural luxury to inspirational storytelling, this project shows how a single concept can be thoughtfully adapted to create meaningful, memorable experiences for every audience it reaches.
