Court Origins marks the WNBA’s 30th season with a program built to honor the league’s history. Premier brought that vision to life with two tiered custom luxury presentation boxes. Each one delivered a premium unboxing experience for current players, retired legends, and league supporters. Every kit included a team-branded jersey and shorts personalized for each recipient.

Wood, Brass, and a Story

Tier one centered on a custom luxury presentation box in mahogany, hinged and finished with brass-like hardware for a commemorative feel. Inside the lid, laser-etched copy directly told the story of the women who built the league from the ground up. A team-matched jersey, shorts, and basketball completed this milestone keepsake.

Precision in Every Edge

Tier two took a more streamlined approach without losing the elevated feel. A custom, black, turned-edge box was finished with four-color printed vinyl with a scuff-free coating to protect the finish. Inside, a team-matched jersey and shorts kept the focus on the apparel, a leaner kit to match the leaner box. Each was individually branded, giving every recipient the same highly branded unboxing experience.

Getting Every Detail Right

With apparel tied to specific teams and specific people, this was essentially a match-mailing program, not a standard bulk shipment. Behind it sat the kitting and fulfillment logistics that made it work: matching, packing, and shipping the correct kit to the right recipient at scale. The coordination behind the scenes mattered just as much as the craftsmanship on display in every box shipped.

More Than a Box

The build required more than one set of hands. Working alongside Nahom Hailu Design and Mitchell & Ness, who produced the jerseys and shorts, Premier managed the structural engineering, production, and project management for both tiers. The complexity extended well past the packaging itself, spanning design, manufacturing, and recipient-specific delivery from first concept to the last doorstep.

A milestone like Court Origins called for more than standard promotional packaging. Custom engineering, premium materials, and complex personalized fulfillment turned the WNBA’s 30th anniversary into something worth keeping long after the season is over.
