Influencer Kit, Custom PR Box & End-of-Year Packaging Experience

For Milk Makeup, the goal was to celebrate their biggest fan-favorite products with a bold, unforgettable send-off to the year. The result: a vibrant, highly interactive custom influencer kit and premium PR box designed as an “end-of-year recap” experience.

Interactive Drawer Unboxing

Inside, the influencer kit featured 10 of Milk Makeup’s most popular products—each housed in its own dedicated drawer. Rather than a traditional insert, our team engineered a structure with 10 individual slide-out drawers, creating a layered, sequential unboxing moment that encouraged discovery with every interaction. Each drawer was uniform in size, but because the products varied, we incorporated silver mylar lining as a reflective, flexible solution to securely hold each item in place while adding a playful, high-impact visual element.

Engineered Drawer Structure

To enhance the experience further, each drawer was produced in bright neon colors, amplifying the energy of the piece and tying directly into the celebratory, party-season theme. Functional details were just as important as the visual ones—each drawer included a pull-stop mechanism, ensuring they remained securely in place during shipping and handling while maintaining a smooth user experience.

Neon Color & Foil Finish

The exterior of the box carried that same sense of energy and intention. Using the neon color palette from the drawers, the outer wrap featured bold, confetti-inspired artwork that felt dynamic and festive. To elevate the piece, extensive silver foil was applied across the surface, creating contrast, depth, and a premium finish. Due to the scale and coverage of the foil, the production required four large custom dies, along with precise registration to align the artwork perfectly.

Precision Foil Registration

One of the more technically demanding aspects of the project was the foil-to-art alignment. With portions of the confetti artwork designed to appear both beneath and above the foil, maintaining perfect registration was critical. This layering effect added dimension and visual interest, but required tight control throughout production to ensure consistency across every piece.

Elevated Unboxing Experience

The unboxing experience began before the box was even opened. A custom outer sleeve with a full zip-strip closure introduced a tactile, interactive first step—building anticipation and setting the tone for what was inside. Once opened, the combination of color, structure, and reflective materials created a moment that felt both playful and elevated.
