Premier’s 2019 Holiday Wrapping Paper

This time of year is about celebration and giving. For the ninth year in a row, we’ve put those sentiments on paper: with a set of four original wrapping paper designs. It’s a fun way to celebrate and promote our local design community by featuring their work, and to thank our friends and customers for a great year.

This year’s papers are as follows, including printing specs for you technical folks:

“Red Checkered” has a whimsical, retro feel. It’s a two-sided gold wrap, created by the Strum brand agency with illustration by Willy Eddy.  It’s printed using a four-color process, with a dull varnish and a UV coating. 

“Elegant Joy” is just what the name implies. The bird and flower motif comes from E. Manwaring Design. It’s also a two-sided gold wrap, with metallic gold, metallic green, and a special cream mix plus a spot gloss varnish.

Hovercraft Studio gave us a bold, dynamic design that uses designed PMS Black with 2 hits of pretty-peachy-pink PMS 805, and a soft-touch aqueous finish.

And “Color Blocks” was contributed by our own designers at Premier Press Creative. It has both a dull and gloss coating for a dramatic, dimensional effect.

All designs were printed on 70-pound Titan gloss paper, using our Komori 8-color press, in our 100% wind-powered facility, certified by the SGP (Sustainable Green Printing Partnership).
