It’s no secret that the print and design industry has changed significantly over the past decade. Shifts in business spending and the desire for comprehensive, end-to-end support have gradually shrunk what was once a crowded sector with over 500 vendors to a few hundred. 

Premier Press has continued to thrive despite these market headwinds. We credit our growth to our deep commitment to print innovation, unrivaled in-house talent, and true partnership with clients (and a pinch of luck, of course).

Our third-party validation in 2024 reinforces our position as a leading innovator in print and design services.

The Portland Business Journal honored us with its Portland Makers & Manufacturers Award, which recognizes manufacturing companies in Oregon and Washington that drive the region’s economy with strategic evolution and innovation. Several factors helped us stand out to the judges, including:

• Expanded branded and gifted merchandise expertise thanks to our acquisition of GIDI Promotions and joining forces with KG Specialties
• Dozens of prestigious print and design award wins in national and international programs, including 18 regional awards in the Printing Industries Association 2023 Print Excellence Awards and national recognition in the Americas Printing Association Network America Print Awards

This recognition followed two other wins showcasing our growth: We preserved our place in the top 100 of both the 2024 Printing Impressions 300, an annual ranking of the top printing companies in the U.S. and Canada, and the 2024 Wide-Format Impressions 150, the seventh ranking of the top companies in wide-format printing in the U.S. and Canada.
