In February of 2017, Tommy Hilfiger launched their spring fashion collection with the “Tommyland” show, hosted in Los Angeles.
It was one of the first times Tommy Hilfiger had ever undertaken a show of this type and magnitude outside of New York’s Fashion Week. The challenge was so great that fashion editor Dhani Mau of Fashionista remarked, ”Short of space and/or time travel, I’m not sure anyone will ever stage a runway show on a larger scale than Tommy Hilfiger’s second consecutive, consumer-facing, see now, buy now, Tommy x Gigi spectacle.”
As part of the massive fashion show, Premier was asked to build a “Tommyland” retail pop-up shop in Saks 5th Ave. The shop was the first of its kind in a new partnership between Tommy Hilfiger and the luxury retailer.
Premier managed the project from start to finish, installing on time and on budget despite a short lead-time and critical deadline. The final shop featured raised platforms, large-format graphics, 3D fixtures, and a video wall, and was a spectacle unlike any other.
