The Backstage 2023: An Annual Tradition That Unlocks Creative Potential For Branded Merchandise

When it comes to designing branded merchandise that your employees and customers will actually love, it helps to bring on a creative partner. 

That’s why we host The Backstage each year as an opportunity for our customers to get a behind-the-scenes look at how we create pretty amazing apparel and merch with some of the best vendors. 

After joining forces with KG Specialties in August, we were thrilled to host The Backstage 2023 at Premier’s facilities in Portland and show off the creative power of our combined team. Let’s look back at some highlights from the event!

Branded Holiday Gifts and Event Merchandise Inspiration

More than 100 clients joined us for an exciting event with ten different vendors who showcased what’s new in the merchandise and promotion world. The whole event was designed to immerse our clients in the design process and give a hands-on look at what’s possible. 

After grabbing a coffee on their way in, our guests had several experiences to choose from:

• Apparel Design Studio: Everyone received a free t-shirt, which they could then design in our studio. This demonstrated the range of possibilities for branded t-shirts (and gave everyone a personal keepsake!). 
• Inspiration Room: Our creative library, filled with many of our coolest projects, helped our clients envision what’s possible for their brand and spark new ideas.
• Networking Garden: Some of our favorite food trucks in Portland, including Retrolicious and Ash Woodfired Pizza, offered food and snacks in our back garden, allowing us to mix, mingle, and chat more with vendors. 

All of our vendors were available to meet 1:1 with our clients, giving them dedicated space to discuss their branded merchandise ideas, answer questions, and see examples of what’s possible.
