KG Specialties: Excellence In Screen Printing, Embroidery, and Heat Transfer
KG Specialties is a branded merchandise company that started in Kyle Gibson’s garage in 1993. Through its screen printing, embroidery, and heat transfer services, the company quickly scaled and eventually found its home near PDX—just a few miles from our 170,000 square-foot facility in northwest Portland.
We’ve long admired KG Specialties’ work, especially with some of our favorite brands like Big Al’s, Moda, and UKANDU. Importantly, their team has a clear commitment to quality, integrity, and innovation that blends perfectly with our identity.

Heat Transfer
Heat transfer is a popular method of decorating merch, especially apparel and textiles. This process involves applying custom designs, onto items using heat and pressure to bond a transfer material onto the surface of the product. Heat transfer is commonly used to create intricate and colorful designs.
Screen Printing
Screen printing is valued for its ability to achieve high-quality and durable designs with consistent color and detail. It is often used in merchandising to enhance branding efforts, create eye-catching promotional items, and produce customized products that effectively convey a message or image.
Custom Embroidery
Embroidery is a popular method of decorating merchandise, particularly textiles like apparel, hats, bags, and patches. Embroidery adds a high-end professional look with a classic and timeless appeal that never goes out of style.
